Laura Ramsden cares about her clients and her community.  In her practice, she takes the time to listen to her clients, and address any concerns they have in order to ensure they always understand their position and options.

Laura is a local, raised in Vancouver and currently residing in Pemberton.  She obtained her Juris Doctor (JD) from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she was President of the Allard Law Students’ Society.  During law school Laura acted as a Student Caseworker for the UBC Innocence Project,  a group that reviews and assists with claims of wrongful conviction.   She is currently a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, in good standing.

Laura comes to Double Diamond Law from one of British Columbia’s most prominent boutique firms, where she gained valuable trial experience.  Her preferred areas of practice are Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Estate, and General Civil Litigation.

Laura enjoys residing in the Sea to Sky, and looks forward to putting her legal skills and experience to work for local residents for many years to come.  When Laura is not fighting for her clients’ interests, she enjoys skiing, hiking, frisbee golf and several forms of dance.
